What does the BNVL label mean?

BitNinja Server Security’s BNVL identifiers are intended for use to identify publicly known information security vulnerabilities in publicly released software packages. This project was designed to collect and analyze attack information from the BitNinja network after cluster analysis by the AI-powered Attack Vector Miner. More than 100 vulnerability types have been discovered with this project so far, so we decided to publish this platform to help to keep Linux server owners up-to-date.

Description: 

The email message titled “Your account is being used by another person” or “Your account is being accessed by another person!” is the latest phishing scam affecting lots of people. Thankfully, this email is a fake! Your email account, your computer and other devices have not been hacked.

An email scam sends you a message with “Your account is being used by another person!” as the subject and claims to have sent the message from your account.

A recently discovered sextortion email scam sends you an email message from your own account and claims to have recorded you through your webcam while you visited adult websites. The subject of the email message is “Your account is being used by another person!”
